Oh. My. Gosh. Deliciousness. We were staying at a hotel nearby and decided to try this place out when the kids woke up early. Our family arrived at the restaurant at 8am and it was already busy. (No reservations allowed, everyone must be present to be seated). After we were there, we realized they had been featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. I can see why. The food was diner food and incredible. We ordered biscuits (the gravy was insane!), the pulled pork benedict, and the corned beef hash. There was also a special that was a Dos Leches Nutella Churro Bread Pudding. Yes, it was as ridiculous as it sounds. So amazing. I want to go back to San Antonio just so I can go here again!

First time I have ever been to this restaurant. I was blown away!! I had the shrimp and avocado omelette best I have ever had EVER! No kidding. My cousin and I are making this our every week destination for brunch (we're 67&73). Cheers

There are so many delicious sounding food on their menu, we had a hard time deciding what to get. So we got several dishes and shared them. Everything was amazing, the biscuit and gravy also came with honey butter which is delightful! The chicken and waffle sampler also amazing, the waffles had different flavors and the chicken was fried to perfection. I also loved their coffee. Outstanding servers too! Highly recommend.

Food is delicious. I love the Pecan waffles. Waiters are friendly. The hostesses can sharpen how they treat customers. Over all I love the food.

Everything was great. Service was great. Food was great. Was able to get on waitlist fine.

The food here is truly exceptional and far exceeds the norm, which is evident from the bustling atmosphere and well-thought-out rules. The kitchen prioritizes serving dishes that are both fresh and hot, so sometimes there may be a slight wait. However, as locals, we appreciate that this isn't a fast food place; it's somewhere you come for a delightful family meal, so there's no need to rush. **THE HAUS RULES** We adhere to these guidelines to ensure that every guest has the best possible experience... - you can join the wait list from Yelp - they will text you when your table is ready. - they operate on a first come, first served basis, as do not take reservations or call ahead requests. (Waitlist only, but still a little wait) - no exceptions, they will seat only complete parties to ensure that everyone can enjoy their meal together once all are present. - If you or one person in your party doesn't arrive within 15 minutes before your wait time seating, or 5 minutes before your seating notification, they will move you down the list and maybe hold the next available table for you upon your return. (Truly no give on the restaurants part, whole seating party on time, or no way to be seated) - Lastly, and importantly, please coordinate with your family/friends to arrive on time, as they aim to accommodate everyone efficiently and fairly. You cannot slip them money to give you front of the line preferential treatment remember their rules their way come early expect to wait but again I say it's worth the wait.

Yum! This visitor to Texas was delighted by the Texas shaped pecan and peach waffle. The regular round strawberry waffle of my companion was delicious as well. Our third diner had the eggs Benedict which were served on pretty amazingly fluffy looking English muffins. She said it was okay, not great. Our server was new and she did a great job. The food did take a while to come out despite us arriving in the tail end of a rush, with many tables opening up around us as we waited after ordering. We were there for lunch 11:45-12:30, which seems like a time they ought to be cranking out plates, but maybe since this is a breakfast/brunch place it works differently. We were seated at a 4-top in the middle of the dining room and it was fine, didn't feel crowded or like we were in people's way as they made their way out around us. The environment was actually pretty quiet and clean. Overall great experience!
